Make HTML using JavaScript

With our REST API, JavaScript developers can easily make HTML documents. To do this, you need to perform a few steps using our Node Cloud SDK:

  1. Set file name
  2. Call the 'CreateDocument' method to create a HTML document in JavaScript
  3. Save the output HTML file

Since an empty HTML document is supposed to formally contain one paragraph, when you programmatically create a HTML file, you will get just such a basic structure.

Note that it is possible to add content to a newly created HTML document instantly. Thus, you will get not just an empty file, but a HTML document that contains the required content. For more information on how to modify HTML documents, see the 'Edit HTML' page.

Create HTML in JavaScript

As already mentioned, our Node Cloud SDK allows you to programmatically create HTML documents. You can try our powerful functionality and evaluate how to create HTML documents using the following JavaScript example:

Select the target format from the list
Run code
import * as fs from "fs";

const wordsApi = new WordsApi("####-####-####-####-####", "##################");
const fileName = "Output.html";

const createDocumentRequest = new model.CreateDocumentRequest({
    fileName: fileName

.then((createDocumentRequestResult) => {
    console.log("Result of CreateDocumentRequest: ", createDocumentRequestResult);
    const downloadDocumentRequest = new model.DownloadFileRequest({
        path: fileName

    .then((downloadDocumentRequestResult) => {
        console.log("Result of DownloadDocumentRequest: ", downloadDocumentRequestResult);
Run code
Copy JavaScript code to the clipboard
