We currently do not accept EPUB files as input. But we can produce EPUB files as an output. We look forward to full EPUB support in the near future.
Using our powerful C# API, developers can compress EPUB documents to optimize content and output file size. Reducing EPUB size occurs by cleaning up unused data and resources. You can also compress images inside EPUB to make the output file size even smaller.
The result of content optimization and compression can be saved in the original EPUB or any available save format – DOCX, DOC, RTF, HTML and many others. For example, compress EPUB and save the output as Word.
As mentioned, our .NET SDK allows you to programmatically reduce EPUB size. And now you can try our powerful functionality and evaluate how to compress EPUB in C# with the following example:
using Aspose.Words;
var config = new Configuration { ClientId = "####-####-####-####-####",
ClientSecret = "##################" };
var wordsApi = new WordsApi(config);
using var requestDocument = File.OpenRead("Input.docx");
var requestCompressOptions = new CompressOptions()
{
ImagesQuality = 75,
ImagesReduceSizeFactor = 1
};
var compressDocumentRequest = new CompressDocumentOnlineRequest(requestDocument,
requestCompressOptions);
var compressDocument = await wordsApi.CompressDocumentOnline(compressDocumentRequest);
var convertDocument =
new ConvertDocumentRequest(compressDocument.Document.Values.First(), "epub");
await wordsApi.ConvertDocument(convertDocument);
Install 'Aspose.Words Cloud SDK for .NET' using NuGet package manager. Just run nuget install Aspose.Words-Cloud to automatically install and reference the corresponding assembly in your project. As an alternative, you can manually clone Aspose.Words Cloud SDK for .NET source code from GitHub and use it in your project. Please follow these Instructions to quickly get the necessary security credentials and access our REST API.
