Create a DOC document using Ruby

With our REST API, Ruby developers can easily create DOC documents. To make a file in DOC document format, you need to perform a few steps using our Ruby Cloud SDK:

Set file name
Call the 'CreateDocument' method to create a DOC document in Ruby
Save the output DOC file

Since an empty DOC document is supposed to formally contain one paragraph, when you programmatically create a DOC file, you will get just such a basic structure.

Note that it is possible to add content to a newly created DOC document instantly. Thus, you will get not just an empty DOC file, but a document that contains the required content. For more information on how to modify a DOC document, see the 'Edit DOC Document' page.
